StreetWise Partners: Who We Are

StreetWise Partners’ mission is to build mentoring relationships between low-income individuals and volunteer business professionals to develop workplace skills and employment networks as the bridge to a successful career.

Providing 14-week Career Ventures programs, we provide critical job-market skill training and career mentoring in areas such as resume writing, interview preparation, computer training, career goal setting, public speaking, and business etiquette. The effectiveness of our programs and success of our operating model on a regional basis is evident, and we are laying the groundwork to build StreetWise Partners into a leading national—and someday international—institution.

Our vision is that one day all citizens will have the skills and opportunities to be employable and achieve economic wellbeing. We also envision a world where all corporations effectively promote volunteer service and hire, retain, and advance top talent from low-income communities; a world where all business professionals act to use their workplace talents to help people succeed in the workforce and become leaders of change in their communities.
